Chasing a mammoth total of 117 runs in just nine overs, Indira School found itself in a nightmarish position and was all out for a paltry score of just 9 runs. Arjun Mori was adjudged the Man of the Match after a superlative spell of bowling that left the opposition batsmen gasping for breath.
Rohan Bhange was declared the Man of the Series after becoming the highest scorer of the tournament. He scored 225 runs in just 5 matches which included a breathtaking and hard hitting century. Arjun Mori and Nilesh, both from Sapphire were declared the best bowler and fielder of the tournament respectively.

Amay Yeravdekar, the skipper of Sapphire was gracious in his approach while lauding his team on their victory and Nitin Dubey, the skipper of the losing team was equally gracious in accepting their defeat.
The tournament set a record of sorts with all the matches being recorded and played on giant screen. A dedicated team from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication (SIMC), Pune worked day in and day out to make it possible along with running live commentary of the matches. The tournament was the first of its kind to be completely televised and recorded. Faisal Ahsan Siddiqui, a senior media trainee from SIMC headed the team to convert the event into a transcendent success tale.
The format of the tournament was fixed to be Knock-out and thus there was hardly any second chance for the participating teams to come back. Just a single mistake and the sojourn was over for the teams.
The rules and dynamics of cricket were twisted and tweaked to make the event more enthralling and exhilarating. Each constituted of 9 players and each innings had 9 overs. The matches were played with soft tennis balls instead of hard cricketing balls.

Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director of the Symbiosis Society and Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Director of Symbiosis Centre of Health Care graced the humble initiation with their enlightening presence. Had it not been for them, the tournament would not have been feasible. The tournament owes a lot to these two individuals.
