This is very smart budget. perfectly balanced between soaring inflation and the increasing subsidy burden on the Govt. little tweaks have made it coem out one of the smartest budget ever in the Indian history

Very commendable job done by Pranab Da, Min Tax free slab increase is really a gift to all of us especially for men as we have been always left behind with less of tax benefits every year but this he has kept everyone at par...very good attaempt of showing the growing equality in the country

Not a happy budget for Women. No tax exemption increase, no exemption on household stuff to help us manage our homes better. Should have done better for the betterment of women and society. Please rethink over this.

Good and Bad as well,if we see from different corner of utility.if we see tax slot not gud for lower income of > 300000,but if u see the income of < 1000000 more savings here.tax raised on service tax is good,it is not concerned to AMM-ADMI. so overall budget is gud

Overall Balance Budget with Exception to Exemption limit under Sec 80 C.This should have been increase to minimum 2.00 Lacs from the existing 1.00 lac. Also expectation from budget to increase demand for housing sector hampered due to levy of Service Tax on Construction property as this will be an extra burden for buyers looking to buy house for self as one house per person should be exempted from Service Tax at minimum Service Tax should only be levied to Commercial property and not on Residential House
