FE article.... The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has told the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiring into the second-generation (2G) telecom spectrum controversy that it had collected around 100,000 pages of documents and files during its investigation. It also analysed recordings of around 5,800 intercepted calls for Niira Radia, the corporate lobbyist at the centre of a lot of the controversy.

when it question rises on the money of our country ...it is obviously a public issue and not a private issue...so i guess more phones needs to be tapped sooner

phone conversations of Radia were originally tapped by the government as part of an investigation into tax evasion or else we are not interested to invade into anyones private life

According to reports, the deadline nearing for filing charge sheet in the 2G case, the CBI will soon interrogate DMK MP K Kanimozhi and Niira Radia , especially on the role played by Radia in clinching a deal between Tata Realty and Unitech. Lets see what the CBI is able to dig out....

CBI is reportedly expected to question Kanimozhi and Niira Radia as the deadline for filing chargesheet in 2G case is nearing lets hope that CBI digs out some major chunk.

The phone lines of the head of Vaishnavi Communication, Niira Radia, were twice placed under surveillance by the Income Tax Department based on a tip-off by the Central Board of Direct Taxes for a few months in 2008 and 2009, is this much evidence nt enough for the accused to be punished

Besides, scrutinizing the papers of deal between Tata Realty and Unitech, CBI officials reportedly is preparing the list of inelligible licensed telecom companies.
