But there is no improvement looking at the current prices which are rising day by day .. i fear if this is the case then one day the common man would stop buying and chopping onion s in the dishes... will find defintely some other alternative ..

today when i got the vegatable market i think twice to spend on nions orelse would go for purchasing for a lower quantity and use it not very often but twice and thrice ina week hihgly impossible to avoid and spend .. for a mormal middle class family..

What is happening ? by the way what is the main reason for teh prices to hike .. like this.. and why there is a need toimport from our neighbouring countries like pakistan and china ..

hey it seems that in areas of Maharashtra , like Lasalgaon, Pimpalgaon who are the main producers of onions have been subjected to detruction of crops, because of heavy monsson rains recently...

Well, in difficult our neighbours helped us .. by suppling Onions in 34 trucks which are yet toreach Delhi to create a complete balance of onion distribution in the whole state .... Thanks a tom Pakistan

But recently there was some news about the halt of Onions exports ferom pakistan to India? What about the Price hike for Onions in Pakistan and how has it been managed ?
