earlier capital investment made in india through mauritius by corporates was not taxed..however media reported that the mauritius will seek to tax capital gains on investments made through them...so now corporate bodies already invested in India through Mauritius may now look for other tax havens nations

India wants to impose a tax because the capital gains are being made in India, Mauritius doesn’t impose capital gains tax.
