Incorporated as a private limited company in Dec.'89, Balaji Galvanising Industries was converted into a public limited company in Jun.'94. The company was promoted by Suresh Kumar Bagaria and his associates.
The company manufactures galvanised iron wires at their unit located in Medak district, Andhra Pradesh. Commercial production with an installed capacity of 5000 tpa commenced in Aug.'90.
In 1995, the company diversified into manufacturing high-carbon bare wires (cap. 5544 tpa), high-carbon galvanised wire (5544 tpa) and stainless steel wire (1585 tpa). It came out with a public issue in Mar.'95 to part-finance this diversification programme.
During 1996-97, Company is trying to stabilise its products by improving quality during the current year, and has came out with new product in the market. Company is planning to enter the export market and to tie up with established consumers for the product in the local market.
