Greenfield Corp was incorporated as Greenfield Pipes (P) Ltd in Jun.'89. It was subsequently converted into a public limited company and was renamed as Greenfield Corp in Jun.'95. It was promoted by Ramesh Chandra Dublish, Sunil Dublish and Rajeev Dublish.
The company is engaged in the manufacture of rigid PVC pipes of sizes 4" to 6" with an installed capacity of 2400 tpa, which are used for irrigation purposes, at Mawana, Uttar Pradesh. Commercial production commenced in Feb.'90. The company, whose product is carrying ISI mark, enjoys a totally institution-based sales.
In 1995-96, the company had undertaken a project to set up manufacturing facilities for HDPE / PP woven sacks, both laminated and unlaminated, with a total installed capacity of 1080 tpa. The project has been delayed due to liquidity problems.
