Incorporated on 29 Jul.'93 as Kuber Plantations, Kuber Floritech was promoted by Praduman Kumar Sharma and his associates.
The company grows fresh cut roses using the latest and modern computerised greenhouse facilities imported from Holland. The company has entered into an agreement for technical know-how, supervision and marketing with Flodac, Netherlands. It has imported live rose plants from Swaziland. It will be producing two types of roses -- Eskada and Boronesse. The basic colour of the roses will be dark red with stem length of 40-50 cm.
The company came out with a public issue in Jun.'95 to part-finance a 100% EOU for the cultivation and export of cut flowers, with installed capacity of 7.8 mln flowers pa.
In 1995-96, the company started production of cut flowers.The Company distributed its products into various export market Viz Holland, Germany, London, France and Belgium.
