Radan Multimedia, previously Radan Tapes & Tubes was incorporated in 1986. It was promoted by Ashok Seth. N S Parulekar is the chairman and Ashok Seth is the managing director of the company.
Radan Multimedia entered the capital market with a public issue of 24 lac equity shares at par, aggregating Rs 2.40 cr, in Sep.'91. The proceeds of the issue issue were utilised to part-finance a video software unit. The company has decided to expand its activity by adding audio software and graphics, which is to be funded by IDBI. The company has retained an eminent American consultant to design its audio facility to produce audio software of superior quality. It is also negotiating with another eminent pre-press house for technical collaboration in equipment selection and training.
Radan Multimedia caters to a large number of clients such as Zee Telefilms, Lintas India, Hindustan Thompson Associates (HTA), Ogilvy Benson & Mather, Trikaya Grey Advertising, etc. It has about 150 satisfied customers. It has started production of multi-media application software for the export market from Apr.'95.
Radan Multimedia has installed 2 powerful SEI Indigo extreme work stations for animated graphics.
It was the first company in India to establish the latest BETA CAM post-production equipment in COMPONENT mode. It's ARENA switcher is the most powerful and versatile switcher in India.
