Company Profile

Incorporated in 1986 for texturising polyester yarn, Radhika Polyesters could not undertake any commercial activity due to uneconomical operations in the industry. Radhika Polyesters has been jointly promoted by Radhika Synthetics (the flagship of the Radhika group) and Vasu Hiranandani, chairman of the HongKong-based Glory group. Radhika Synthetics is an established quality process house. In 1993-94, the company diversified into the manufacture of synthetic water-proof coated fabric by setting up a project in technical collaboration with Marubeni Corporation, Japan, with an installed capacity of 7 mln mtr pa. The project was successfully implemented in Mar.'95.
