SVDPL was incorporated in the state of Bihar as a public limited company in the name Shree Vashnavi Dyeing company. The same Shree Vashnavi Dyeing company which was subsequently changed to Shree Vaishnavi Dyeing & Printings Limited.
The company has set up an process house for processing synthetic, blended, rayon and knitted fabrics. Phase I of the project has already been implemented and has commenced commercial production in July '94. Phase II of the project too commenced.
During the year 1995-96, company earned an foreign exchange of Rs 2.76 cr and
the installed capacity of Dyeing & Printing was increased to 14000000 meters.
