Incorporated on 8 Mar.'94 as a public limited company, Vijay Remedies was promoted by Vijay Kumar Aggarwal, B K Goyal, Kamal Goyal and Madanlal Aggarwal.
The company is engaged in distribution of pesticides manufactured by H P Agro Industries Corporation, Shimla; Herbicides India, Jaipur; Goyal Pesticides, Vidisha; etc, on its own brand names. The company has decided to set up a manufacturing unit in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, to manufacture pesticides formulations including insecticides, fungicides, herbicides as liquid formulations, wettable powder formulations, granular formulations and dust formulations.
The insecticide liquid formulation plant will formulate products like monocrotophos, phosphamidion, chlorpyriphos, quinalphos, fenvalerate, cypermethrin, etc.
The company entered the capital market in Feb.'96 with a public issue of 29 lac equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at par aggregating Rs 290 lac, to part-finance its project.
