AAI threatens to encash Kingfisher cheques worth Rs 1.19bn: reports

AAI reportedly said that they plan to present them to the bank and recover money.

Airports Authority of India has threatened to encash the Kingfisher Airlines cheques worth Rs 1.19bn to clear the latter's dues that amounted to Rs 2.55bn as of January 16, according to reports.

AAI reportedly said that they plan to present them to the bank and recover money.

 At the end of the September 2011 quarter, Kingfisher Airlines saw its losses double to Rs 4.69bn against a loss of Rs 2.31bn during the same period last year, says report.
