ACC net profit rises 83.84% in the December 2011 quarter

Sales rise 27.84% to Rs 2502.73 crore

Net profit of ACC rose 83.84% to Rs 470.44 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 255.90 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010. Sales rose 27.84% to Rs 2502.73 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 1957.63 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010.

For the audited full year, net profit rose 18.33% to Rs 1325.26 crore in the year ended December 2011 as against Rs 1120.01 crore during the previous year ended December 2010. Sales rose 22.30% to Rs 9438.66 crore in the year ended December 2011 as against Rs 7717.33 crore during the previous year ended December 2010.

In the consolidated results, the company reported net profit after minority interest of Rs 463.20 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 248.87 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010. Sales reported to Rs 2647.41 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 2093.27 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010.

In the consolidated full year results, the company reported net profit after minority interest of Rs 1300.80 crore in the year ended December 2011 as against Rs 1077.53 crore during the previous year ended December 2010. Sales reported to Rs 10012.33 crore in the year ended December 2011 as against Rs 8260.63 crore during the previous year ended December 2010.
