As per latest release from Brazilian agriculture consultancy Safras & Mercado , the total production forecast for Brazil's 2011-12 soybean crop is expected at 66.82 million tonnes, down 10% from 2010-11 and down almost 2.1% from the March's forecast.
This is mainly due to draught like situation in major producing areas.
