IFS announces that Atlas Group, the third largest manufacturer of construction chemicals in Europe and market leader in Poland, has selected IFS Applications to streamline and optimize its business processes. The solution will be implemented in all the main Atlas Group companies and branches in Poland.

Atlas Group consists of 18 business entities—including 4 overseas—16 plants with modern production lines and 5 gypsum, anhydrite and quartz sand mines. The company decided to invest in IFS Applications to support the company’s dynamic growth.

The implementation will include all Atlas Group key areas of operations, such as: financials, distribution, manufacturing, maintenance, controlling elements, consolidation, trade management, B2B portals (collaborative solutions), WMS, and document and quality management. The solution will be implemented together with the new, intuitive IFS Enterprise Explorer interface.

The total number of IFS Applications users within the Atlas Group will be 730 and the system is expected to go live in January, 2013. The company’s future plans include extending its IFS Applications suite to Atlas Group companies located in other European countries.
