BSE Institute Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the BSE Ltd, has announced the launch of Post Graduate Program in Business Journalism, a one year full time autonomous program. Spread across 4 modules comprising of 27 chapters and 3 assignments, this intensive program is to commence in the last week of August, 2012.

The Post Graduate Program in Business Journalism (PGPBJ) will include key topics on finance, economics and financial markets to provide students with the base domain knowledge along with the journalism related topics. It will emphasize on introduction to business and financial reporting, exploring corporate stories, industry news, national and local economic trends, and financial markets. The faculty for this program will comprise of the most reputable practitioners from the industry who will facilitate lively discussions and address complex real life questions, leading to the creation of knowledge and ideas that vastly advance the domain of financial markets, thereby preparing students to be thoughtful and effective leaders.

Key highlights of this program include an opportunity to cover live events, work on broadcast capsules in a live studio, mentoring from senior business journalists, international visits and training to use technology tools. This program will provide required knowledge and understanding of financial products, develop analytical skills and build a professional attitude amongst the students.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates holding a degree or equivalent qualification from a UGC recognized university with minimum 50% marks at graduation / aggregate, command over English and at least one local language.
