Zain will get its first payment from Bharti Airtel Ltd after completing the transfer of African business, according to reports. The two companies completed the transfer of 10 out of 15 assets Bharti acquired from Zain. Bharti is determined to arrange the transfer of the remaining business in 10 days, the report stated. Earlier, Bharti has agreed on March 31 to buy Zain’s assets in 15 African countries in a US$9bn transaction, the report added.
