As per the latest updates from the Spices Board of India, the average prices of cardamom in the auction held at The Cardamom Processing & Marketing Co-Operative Society Ltd, Kumily on Wednesday (as on 2nd May 2012) stood at Rs 724.49 and maximum price was at Rs 1,153 per kg. The arrivals and offtakes stood at 34687 kg and 34445 kg respectively.
The average price in the previous auction was Rs 738.90 per kg, meanwhile arrivals and offtakes stood at 56490 kg and 55339 kg respectively.
