The percentage of the harvested area of soybeans increases every day in Rio Grande do Sul and today stands at 6% of the total cultivated. There is some concern over the lack of more abundant rain by the end of this cycle, with many areas scoring more than 15 days without rainfall. This may also trigger some negative impact on the yields of the croplands that are in flowering and grain formation, which currently represent 74% of the total.
Even so, the potential production presented by the absolute majority of farms indicates that yield levels are greater than those achieved in recent years. Information from the weekly newsletter Emater/RS.
