Concurrent (India) Infrastructure takes off on acquisition

Concurrent (India) Infrastructure gained 2.83% to Rs 21.80 at 12:59 IST on BSE, after the company acquired a majority stake in Kazi Aviation & Travel Services which is into the business of ground handling, maintenance and repairing of aircrafts.

The company made this announcement during trading hours today, 12 March 2010.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 9.58 points, or 0.06% to 17,177.54.

On BSE, 3.64 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 2.70 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 22.25 and a low of Rs 20.15 so far during the day.

The company's equity capital is Rs 33 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The current price of Rs 21.80 discounts the company's Q3 December 2009 annualized EPS of Rs 0.10, by a PE multiple of 218.

Concurrent (India) Infrastructure's net profit jumped 700% to Rs 0.08 crore on 54.5% fall in net sales to Rs 5.33 crore in Q3 December 2009 over Q3 December 2008.

The company is engaged in the design, engineering, erection, and commissioning of power plants. It also engaged in the development of road and realty infrastructure.
