Courtyard by Marriott, Pune City Centre has announced the following three new senior level appointments:
Harinder Jeet Singh, General Manager
Zuni Kashmiri Citnis, Director of Sales
Sunil D’Souza, Director of Human Resources
Harinder Jeet Singh joins Courtyard by Marriott, Pune City Centre as General Manager from Jet Airways (India) where he worked as General Manager, In-Flight Dining Operations. He brings with him 28 years experience in food and beverage in the hospitality industry. He began his career as an Apprentice Steward at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi and soon moved up the ladder in roles varying from Assistant Restaurant Manager to Vice President, Hotel Development at different hotels. During his tenure, he even worked with the Renaissance Mumbai Hotel and Convention Centre and Marriott Convention Homes, Mumbai for around 5 years as Director of Operations. Harinder Jeet Singh is a Commerce Graduate from Delhi University.
Zuni Kashmiri Chitnis joins as the Director of Sales. She was with the Marriott India Pune Sales office as Associate Director of Sales where she was solely responsible for all outbound business to 6 Marriott Hotels in India. She brings with her 8 years experience in food and beverage in the hospitality industry. ]
She began her career as a Sales Executive at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai. In 2004, she moved to the Marriott Group taking care of the sales function at the Renaissance / Marriott Executive Apartments. Zuni is a Commerce Graduate from Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce & Economics. .
Sunil D’souza, the Director of Human Resources, comes to the Courtyard by Marriott, Pune City Centre from within the Marriot Group viz. the Renaissance Mumbai Hotel where he was the Human Resources Manager. Sunil has 22 years experience in Human Resources in the hospitality industry to his credit. He began his career with the Marriott Group with Renaissance in 2001 as HR Assistant and later grew up the ranks from HR Executive to Asst HR Manager and then HR Manager. He has also worked at the WelcomGroup SeaRock, Mumbai. Sunil is a Commerce Graduate from KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce.
