Dabur India Q3 net profit at Rs1728.20 mn

Total Income is Rs. 14758.00 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs. 10888.30 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

Dabur India Ltd has posted a net profit and minority interest of Rs. 1728.20 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs. 1544.40 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

 Total Income is Rs. 14758.00 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs. 10888.30 mn for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

The financial results for die quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2111, are not comparable with the corresponding quarter and nine months respectively of the previous year as these Include results of:

Namaste Laboratories LLC, alongwith Hair Rejuvenation & Revitalisation Nigeria Ltd., Healing Hair Laboratories International LLC and Urban Laboratories International LLC, all Incorporated abroad acquired subsequent to corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Dabur Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary newly formed in Srilanka to set up a FMCG Plant involving proposed estimated capital outlay of Rs. 105 cr. approximately, out of which Rs. 11 cr. already spent against ongoing project.

Business Overview

Domestic business grew by 16 2% during Q3FY12 and by 13 8% in 9MFY12
International refers to organic business and Namaste and Hobi not included herein 16.2% 13.8% 􀂾 International Business (excl. Hobi and Namaste) grew by 37.8% in Q3FY12
and by 21.9% in 9MFY12. Growth in constant currency terms was at 26.5% for Q3FY12 and 19.8% in 9MFY12

Domestic Business Overview

Consumer Care business picked up in Q3FY12, growing by 14.6% visavis 10.3% in 9MFY12.
 Foods continued on strong growth trajectory, growing by 17.3% in Q3FY12 and by 25.2% in 9M FY12.
