The Empyrean, Bangalore’s first truly integrated suburban township being developed by FIRE Capital, has been conferred with the IGBC Green Homes Precertification – Gold Rating. The 230 acres township is designed to international standards and offers low- rise residential units - villas and rowhouses - in the lap of nature with more than 100 acres of open / green areas. Located beyond Whitefield on NH 207, phase I of the project is in an advanced stage of development. When fully built, the project will have over 47 lakh sq.ft. of built up area with around 1700 homes.
Announcing the certification Dr. Sanjiv Aundhe, COO, FIRE Luxur Developer said, “The Empyrean is the one of the few residential projects in the country, wherein homes have been given IGBC Green Home Gold Rating precertification. The rating revalidates our commitment to create a world class sustainable development by using eco-friendly initiatives”.
This precertification of the housing developments at The Empyrean was conferred on the basis of a review of the project’s goals and intentions. It is incumbent upon the project team to demonstrate that the credit requirements have been met at the design and construction certification reviews.
The Empyrean is being developed with initiatives such as Rain Water Harvesting, Water Table Recharging through lakes, setting up a Water Purification Plant and a Sewage Treatment Plant, Solid Waste Disposal mechanisms, Solar Energy Lighting for parts of the township, Solar Heating for individual homes etc . All these facilities will help the township residents live a stress free and a healthy life, while making the township a truly sustainable development.
