Evonik Energy Services India is reportedly plans to buy stakes in projects where the company has an O & M (operation and maintenance) contract. he report stated that, Evonik Energy Services GmbH, is looking to invest in upcoming private power projects in India, through its subsidiary.
Evonik Energy recently signed O&M multi-year contracts with Vedanta Resources for it's 2,400 MW plant in Orissa. Under the agreement Sterlite would pay aROUND us$44mn every year to Evonik for a period of seven years.
The systems include a simulator for training operational staff and online optimisation and diagnostic systems .Evonik will also install its plant management system and fault prediction systems, the report stated.
It also has a O&M contract with Haldia Petrochemicals for its co-generation unit.
