The Forward Markets Commission has permitted Indian commodity exchanges to offer fresh futures contracts in soybeans for delivery in October and November from June 11, the regulator said on its website on Friday.
In an attempt to “curb the excessive volatility in the prices of soybean” the regulator had banned the new contracts of soybean futures in April.
Futures had posted the biggest monthly gain in over three years in March.
