Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has filed offer document with Sebi to launch FT India Allocation Fund, an open ended fund of funds scheme. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit.
Investment objective: The Fund seeks to achieve capital appreciation and diversification through a mix of strategic and tactical allocation to various asset classes such as equity, debt, gold and cash by investing in funds investing in these asset classes.
Options: The scheme offers growth and dividend plan (with reinvestment & payout options).
Asset Allocation: The scheme shall invest upto 100% of assets in Units of equity mutual fund schemes, upto 100% in Units of debt mutual fund schemes, Upto 100% in Units of Gold ETFs, Upto 100% in Units of liquid mutual fund schemes and upto 100% in cash & money market instruments.
Benchmark: 25% S&P CNX 500 + 25% CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund index + 25% CRISIL Liquid Fund index + 25% Gold domestic prices
Loads: Entry load charge will be nil. Exit load charge will be 1% if redeemed within 1 year of allotment.
Minimum Application Amount: Rs. 10000 and any additional amount in multiples of Re. 1/- thereafter.
Minimum Target Amount: Rs. Twenty crore.
Fund Manager: The scheme will be managed by K. N. Sivasubramanian.
