FY13 fertiliser subsidy may surpass Rs 600bn

The subsidy requirement for fertiliser would touch Rs 850-Rs 900bn during current year, says report.

The Finance Ministry may provide Rs 600-620bn for fertiliser subsidies in Budget 2012-13, according to reports.

Reports stated that the revised estimate for fertiliser subsidy during 2011-12 is expected to touch Rs 620bn.

The subsidy requirement for fertiliser would touch Rs 850-Rs 900bn during current year, says report.
