Ford is planning to invest $773 mn to expand factories across its home state of Michigan, generating 2,350 new jobs, according to reports.
Reports said that the investment will help save an additional 3,240 jobs.
Ford employs some 172,000 people and maintains 65 plants worldwide, report says.
