Indian Overseas Bank has announced that the Government of India, vide its notification dated 28 December 2011 has appointed A D M Chavali as executive director of the bank with effect from the date of his taking over charge of the post i.e. 28 December 2011. He shall, as per the notification, hold office up to 31 October 2014 i.e. the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
