NHPC has announced that Ministry of Power, vide letter dated 16 December 2011 has appointed G Sai Prasad, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power as part time director on the board of NHPC in place of Sudhir Kumar, Joint Secretary (Hydro), who has been relieved from his duties in the Ministry of Power with effect from 30 November 2011. Prasad has given his consent to act as director of the company on 20 December 2011.
