Gujarat State Petroleum has reduced the bid for Gujarat Gas to Rs.250-260 per share from Rs.300 earlier, reports said.
A depreciating rupee versus the dollar has lowered valuation as Gujarat Gas relies on imported liquified natural gas, reports added.
BG Group is looking to sell 65% of Gujarat Gas.
