As per the latest updates from the Spices Board of India, the average prices of cardamom in the auction held at Header Systems (India) Limited, Nedumkandam on Thursday (as on 3rd May 2012) stood at Rs 756.86 and maximum price was at Rs 1,085 per kg. The arrivals and offtakes stood at 35349 kg and 34511 kg respectively.
The average price in the previous auction was Rs 724.49 per kg, meanwhile arrivals and offtakes stood at 34687 kg and 34445 kg respectively.
