Hamilton Sundstrand, Infotech inaugurate new electronic center of excellence

Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation and Infotech Enterprises Ltd. officials have inaugurated a new engineering center for aircraft systems software and electronics analysis, design and development in Bangalore.Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).


Hamilton Sundstrand President Alain Bellemare and Infotech Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mohan Reddy hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at Infotech’s Bangalore offices on April 6.

Hamilton Sundstrand selected Infotech as its supplier for the Embedded Systems Software and Electronics (ESSE) center of excellence in December 2009. The ESSE center began operation in 2010 and now employs approx. 100 software and electronics engineers. The center could employ up to 300 people over the next few years.


“This new center of excellence builds on the relationship Hamilton Sundstrand established with Infotech in 2005,” said Bellemare. “We have found Infotech to be a great team player and we are confident this agreement will help us stay competitive in the global aerospace market.”
