Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported 45.53 % surge in total sales during April at 1,98,831 units, compared to 1,36,622 units in the same month of 2011.
According to reports, Motorcycle sales steps up 32.37 % to 81,427 units during the month, as against 61,514 units in April, 2011.
The company reported a hike of 56.31 % in scooter sales to 1,17,404 units from 75,108 units a year ago during the same month, report stated.
