ISBF organized Staff Development programme

The session highlighted some of the best teaching practices undertaken at LSE and simple yet thoughtful ways toengage the students.

style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify; ">Indian School of Business and Finance organized a Staff Development programme at it’s Delhi Campus for the staff and faculty. The session was spearheaded by Mr. Neil McLean - Head Educational Development & Director of the PGCertHE in the Teaching & Learning Centre at the London School of Economic & Political Science (LSE). 


The session highlighted some of the best teaching practices undertaken at LSE and simple yet thoughtful ways toengage the students. Whether  Sociology, Finance, Economics or Management, he highlighted the key focus of LSE towards “turning young people into social scientists”. 


Engaging the teachers’ interest through witty role plays and an insightful understanding of the Learning theory, Neil was able to establish a learning environment, benefitting all.


This session came further to the discussions with Dr. Keith Sharp (Director, University of London International Programmes – LSE) when he visited ISBF in May of this year. The session was started with the lightning of Lamp by Mr. Neil McLean. 


On this occasion Mr Neil McLean highlighted the key focus of LSE towards “turning young people into social scientists”. Engaging the teachers’ interest through witty role plays and an insightful understanding of the Learning theory, Neil was able to establish a learning environment, benefitting all.
