IVRCL Assets & Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary oflVRCL Limited bagged 151 Km project 'Four Inning of Rai MaHhpur (Rajasthan Border) ~ Narnaut - MahendragarH -Dadri -Bhiwani - Kharak Corridor Project in the State offfaryana to be executed as BOT (Toll) project on DBFOTpattern" from the Government of Haryana.
The project scope includes rehabilitation, up-gradation and widening of the existing carriageway to four-lane standards with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/ or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, etc. and the operation and maintenance thereof. The concession period is 20 years and the construction period is 30 months. The estimated Total Project Cost (TPC) is Rs 12017mn.
The project corridor serves as major interstate south north connectivity between the states like Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra to northern states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. NH-8 is about 6 km from Rajasthan border (end of project of MDR-129). This road is also of immense importance because of the presence of stone queries in its vicinity, Trucks carrying construction materials ply on this road to different locations in Mahendragarh and Rohtak and other districts.
Incidentally, this project is the second road project that has been bagged by the Company within a month. The first project bagged by the company during the month was:
"4/6 Laning of Raipur-Bilaspur Section of NH-20G (Km.0,00 to Km 126,525) in the state of Chhattisgarh to be executed as BOX (Toll) project on DBFOT pattern under NHDP Phase IV" from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The project scope includes widening and strengthening the existing two-lane highway to a Six / Four-lane highway standards. The concession period is 25 years including the construction period of 30 months. The estimated Total Project Cost (TPC) is around Rs 13bn.
