IndianOil has won the SCOPE Excellence Award for the year 2009-10 under the Institutional I (Maharatna & Navratna CPSEs) category.
The award was presented by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh to RS Butola, Chairman, IndianOil, in the presence of Honourable Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Praful Patel at a glittering ceremony in the Vigyan Bhavan.
Instituted by the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), the prestigious awards are evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising Justice PN Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India, Dr. Abid Hussain, former Ambassador of India to USA, Dr. Nitish Sengupta, Chairman, BRPSE and Moosa Raza, former Secretary to the Government of India.
