Infrastructure Development Finance Company has announced that the board of directors had approved the name change of the company from Infrastructure Development Finance Company to IDFC.
The Reserve Bank of India vide their letter dated 05 June 2012 has issued its no-objection for the proposed name change of the company. The Registrar of Companies (ROC) Tamil Nadu, Chennai has vide its approval dated 07 June 2012 confirmed the availability of the said name. Further, the said item shall form a part of the agenda of the notice of the ensuing annual general meeting to be held on 09 July 2012 for the approval of the shareholders.
