Last year in March the same quantity of Tea was sold for `120/kg. Iringmara Tea estate has become one of the best quality producers of CTC TEA in India.
Its Tea is made from all new and young bushes and processed with new and most modern machinery and state of the art factory in Assam. Its new and dedicated management has more than twenty years of experience in Tea.
Vijay Kedia, Chairman of the company has brought in many changes and has turned around the performance of Iringmara Tea estate, after taking a majority stake in it. There was 100% growth in sales in 2012 as compared to that in 2011. Vijay Kedia, commented that “Our main focus is to produce best quality CTC Tea in the world.
And we are moving on that direction. We have roped in best Tea consultants available in India and deployed experienced and young people at all level.” The global tea industry is largely dominated by India - the largest producer and consumer of tea. Accounting for over 30% of the global production, India is a world leader in all aspects of tea production.
Kedia added that “Price of good quality of Tea is going to remain firm throughout this year. Our focus is not in producing Quantity but world class quality Tea. We have received great response from buyers all over India especially from Gujarat which consumes best quality Tea.”
