The imports of Iron ore and concentrates in China fell sharply in the month of January. The data from China General Administration of Customs showed that January 2012 imports were down by 7.4% to 59.32 million tons as compared to 64.09 million tons on December 2011. On a yearly basis, imports of Iron ore and concentrates were down 14% from 68.97 million tons in January 2011.
