J.K. Cement Ltd, one of India’s leading cement manufacturers has been on an aggressive upwards facing growth trajectory. The Company organized a dealer meet in the capital at Taj Palace on 30th May in the presence of brand ambassador, ace cricketer, Virender Sehwag. Gracing the occasion from the Company were, Special Executives, Raghavpat Singhania and Madhavkrishna Singhania, A.K. Saraogi – CFO & President – CA, R.C. Shukla – President – Marketing (Grey North) and M.P. Rawal – President (T & MS).
In 2011, J.K.Cement Ltd made its presence felt with a series of highly significant announcements such as the plans to expand overseas with the foundation stone laying ceremony of its maiden overseas Grey cum White cement manufacturing plant at Fujairah, UAE. The Company is stepping up production in several of its plants including Muddapur and Gotan and has also re-launched in high-demand markets of south India, the all new J.K. Super Slag Cement.
On the occasion of the dealer meet, Raghavpat Singhania – Special Executive, J.K. Cement Ltd remarked, “We believe that dealers across India form an important part of the J.K. Cement family. Through this Dealer Meet at Delhi we applauded the excellent efforts put in by our strong dealer community of 650 members in the crucial markets of Delhi, UP and Haryana. We are proud to have Virender Sehwag on board with us who graced the occasion and felicitated the top performing dealers for their outstanding contribution in their regions.” Adding to the delight of the dealers was a performance by popular singer, Toshi (Voice of India fame). Toshi mesmerised the audience with his powerful singing. Whereas Jitesh Chawla, famous stand-up comedian kept the audience in splits with his hilarious acts. Super six awards were also given to the top six dealers of each state by Virender Sehwag.
