JM Financial Mutual Fund has announced that it has appointed Mr V.P. Singh as independent director of the AMC with effect from 31 August 2010.
Mr V.P. Singh has around 40 years of experience in financial sector institutions including Reserve Bank of India and leading Development Banks in India and Tanzania. Mr. Singh was Chairman and Managing Director of IFCI and non-executive Chairman of Tourism Finance Corporation of India and IDBI Capital Marketing Services. He was also director of many companies including NSE, IDBI Bank and LIC Housing Finance.
