The spot jeera prices were trading steady in the range of Rs 12,500-13,000 per quintal at Unjha Mandi. Best quality was trading steady in the range of Rs 14,500-15,500 per quintal. The total arrivals increased to 10,000 bags from 7,000 bags, while demand was seen for around 12,500 bags against 18,000 bags on Wednesday.
The NCDEX Jeera July contract moved in the range of Rs 13,677.50-13,875 and is currently trading lower at Rs 13,820 per quintal, up by Rs 117.50 or 0.86% per quintal.
