The spot jeera prices were trading steady in the range of Rs 13,000-14,000 per quintal at Unjha Mandi. Best quality was trading steady in the range of Rs 14,500-16,500 per quintal. The total arrivals decreased to 12,000 bags from 14,000 bags, while demand was seen for around 12,000 bags against 23,600 bags on Tuesday.
The NCDEX Jeera August contract moved in the range of Rs 15,212.50-15,445 and is currently trading lower at Rs 15,267.50 per quintal, down by Rs 197.50 or 1.28% per quintal.
