Johnson Controls receives Asia’s Most Ethical Company award

The event aimed at acknowledging the best talent management, human resources practices and continuous innovation in organizations.

Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2010 has recognized Johnson Controls Inc as Asia’s Most Ethical Company. Victor Sun, VP & Legal Counsel Asia; Johnson Controls received the award on behalf of Johnson Controls Asia leadership at a function held recently in Singapore. The event aimed at acknowledging the best talent management, human resources practices and continuous innovation in organizations.

Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards was hosted by Employer Branding Institute, CMO Asia, with their strategic partner, CMO Council, in Singapore. The ceremony was attended by representatives from 24 countries; India, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, UAE and many more. 


The jury comprised of Bhaskar Chatterjee- Secretary to the Govt of India, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprises & Chairman – Asia’s Best Employer Awards; Asia Pacific HRM Congress & World HRM Congress; Harish Mehta- Chairman & MD, Onwards Technology Ltd.; Emeritus Chairman – World HRD Congress & Founder Member NASSCOM among others.


The criteria for the awards are organizations which create a culture of contribution and innovation at work, believe in consistent improvement in Human Resources policy by measuring organizational health and inculcating values that help to achieve the vision, being a social employer, developing future leaders and being an ethical organization.
