Emami Paper jumps after board OKs preferential issue

Emami Paper rose 5% to Rs 26.25 at 13:18 IST on BSE after the company's board approved raising Rs 120 crore by issuing preference shares to finance its expansion project at Orissa's Balasore.

Net profit of Kalptaru Papers rose 46.88% to Rs 0.94 crore in the audited year ended March 2011 as against Rs 0.64 crore during the previous full year ended March 2010. Sales rose 8.55% to Rs 59.81 crore in the audited full year ended March 2011 as against Rs 55.10 crore during the previous full year ended March 2010.
