Kingston Technology has announced that its global revenues in 2009 reached US$4.1bn, a US$100mn increase over 2008.Kingston modest increase was attributed to a rise in average selling price,healthier demand from corporate and customers and consumers and the company's entry into the Solid-state drive (SSD) market.
"The memory market saw some financial recovery last year like many other industries and Kingston was able to benefit from the general rise in DRAM and Flash pricing:, said John TU, co-founder,Kingston.
He added, "We also expanded our product line when we entered the SSD market at the negining of 2009. We expect 40-50% growth in revenue for FY201-11".
The company has also developed the fastest DDR3 triple-channel,Intel-certified memory in the world. Running at 2333MHZ,Kingstons HyperX triple-channel DDR3 memory kit gained Intel XMP certification on the corei7 platform.
