Kotak Mutual Fund has announced that Harsha Upadhaya has been appointed as the Head of Equities, with effect from 1 August 2012. He is aged 40 years and holds B.E. (Mechanical) from National Institute of Technology, Suratkal, Post Graduate Management (Finance) from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
Accordingly, there will be change in fund managers for the following schemes, with effect from 4 August 2012:
Kotak 50 Fund will be managed by Pradeep Kumar and Harsha Upadhaya, Kotak Opportunities Fund will be managed by Harsha Upadhaya and Pankaj Tibrewal, Kotak Contra Fund will be managed by Emmanuel Elango and Harsha Upadhaya, Kotak Tax Saver Fund will be managed by Pankaj Tibrewal and Harsha Upadhaya, Kotak Balance Fund will be managed by Emmanuel Elango, Harsha Upadhaya and Abhishek Bisen, Kotak Select Focus Fund will be managed by Harsha Upadhaya, Pradeep Kumar and Abhishek Bisen and Kotak Monthly Income Plan will be managed by Pankaj Tibrewal, Harsha Upadhaya and Abhishek Bisen.
