Malwa Mirage Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. announced the opening of their new Digital Ceramic Wall Tiles Plant in Pune. Located in Daund Taluka, this plant is spread across 17 acres of land and has a production capacity of 16,000 sq. mtrs per day. The Plant was inaugurated by Hon. Shri Sharadchandraji Pawar (Minister of Agriculture). The Leadership Team from Malwa Mirage Ceramics present were; the Chairman - Shabbir Tambawala, Managing Director - Shrikant Khadilkar and Executive Director - Hussain Tambawala. Some luminaries who graced the occasion included Ramesh Appa Thorat (MLA), Rahul Kul (Chairman Bhima SSK), Satish Utekar (CEO, T.J.S.B), Mrs. Usha Chavan (Chairman D.P.S) along with many others.
The new colossal plant will use the latest technology to manufacture Digital Ceramic Wall Tiles in various contemporary, wooden, stone, and marble patterns having both glossy and matte finishes. Their entire range would be manufactured in sizes 30x60 cms, 30x90 cms and 40x80 cms. With a strong manpower of over 100 skilled, 80 unskilled, 4 management and 80 Sales & marketing personnel, the company will market a diverse product range thereby increasing their existing Dealer network. An on site 3000 sq. ft. display area will showcase products in a miniature room set-up to help customers to visualize how the Tiles would look in an actual room setting.
Commenting on the occasion, Hussain Tambawala, Executive Director, Malwa Mirage Ceramics said, “Our diverse product range will make us more competitive in the months to come. We are now amongst a limited few companies in the organized sector that are offering a wide variety of products on a pan India level.” He further added, “Digital Technology is the future of the ceramics industry. We are very optimistic that Digital Printing will lead the shift in paradigm from a price based market to design based one.”
This state-of-the-art ISO 9001 & 14001 certified manufacturing set-up houses superior quality machinery including a revolutionary 6 head Digital Printing machine as well as a 48 head polishing machine. A team of experienced technicians will ensure products are tested in their in-house Laboratory keeping a close tab on all technical parameters. All raw materials used will be specially imported from China, Spain, Italy and will go through high performance raw material quality testing machines at all stages. This new manufacturing facility at Pune will contribute towards 50 percent of the company’s revenues.
An Ecologically friendly organization, Malwa Mirage Ceramics is a member of Indian Green Building Council and ensures that environment friendly process & techniques are followed in their Plant. 90% of all wasted raw materials are recycled during the production process. Water too is circulated and reused. Carbon scrubbing technique is adopted in the coal gas plant to reduce the Co2 impact.
The Company aims to consolidate their position in the market and will be adding additional products in the future.
